RoadMotion - Technical Project Manager
We are on a mission to transform the quality of time we spend in motion—by making transportation more productive, comfortable, fun, and safe. Our team of 160 people is comprised of controls, systems, and software engineers, and we’ve raised $300M from top VCs. We are rapidly expanding an elite team of developers to build and scale the cloud intelligence platform, RoadMotion, that powers our software control systems.
Our first product, ClearMotion1, is the world’s most advanced active ride. It enables cars to glide over the road, instantaneously eliminating bumps and perturbations. RoadMotion builds on this by crowdsourcing road data to proactively control vehicle subsystems to enhance comfort, performance, and safety. Our technology has the potential to radically improve how vehicle systems are controlled.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will work within our CTO organization to manage the RoadMotion product timeline and release schedule. We are looking for a fast-paced individual with deep experience in software program management, release management, and/or engineering management. Your contribution will directly influence the launch of our first RoadMotion products. We are looking for highly motivated, talented, and creative individuals, driven to work on really hard tech problems, to join our team.
Influence the team from a program/architectural level, create clarity for stakeholders and team members
Plan requirements, identify/manage risks, manage schedules/sprints, and align with stakeholders
Understand intended customer functionality and alignment to system architecture, contribute to developing a successful/scalable solution, exercise technical judgement in decisions
Work with development engineers to develop work estimates, balance scope/timeline in release schedule,
Develop and manage team/development KPIs for progress tracking
Align with product management and voice of customer proxies to define edge case definition
Influence the team with industry best practices, develop tools to improve productivity; identify gaps in processes, tools, or skills
Required Qualifications & Experience
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Hands-on experience developing cloud-based products
Experience with full lifecycle management of software cloud products
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment with ability to be semi-autonomous
Desired Qualifications & Experience
Experience with HD mapping, localization, or autonomous vehicle products
Experience launching IoT products into production
Experience managing software products with safety critical elements
